A5247: ZOSTER (SHINGLES) VACCINE FOR HIV+ PEOPLE
You may be eligible for this study if you:
- Are an HIV+ man or woman 18 or older and taking anti-HIV medications
- Have a T-cell (CD4) count 200 cells/mm3 or higher, and undetectable HIV viral load (HIV-1 RNA)
Study regimen: Subjects will be randomized to receive ZOSTAVAX® or placebo at entry and week 6. The study will last 24 weeks.
